        <description>A presentation on recent design developments in KDE Plasma. Building Plasma's next generation design model for a correlated and faster process to develop applications using the power of design systems and open source distributed communities. Andy Betts is a long time KDE contributor. Andy leads the Visual Design Team at KDE and is also a member of the Community Working Group. Additionally Andy has been a KDE e.V. Board member and currently assists in many capacities involving graphical design. Andy's work involves reviewing graphical changes to the system, providing improvements, maintaining visual conventions and developing new concepts for Plasma. In his professional life, Andy is a Manager of User Testing for a large cloud services provider. Andy resides in the United States. The Linux App Summit (LAS) brings the global Linux community together to learn, collaborate, and help grow the Linux application ecosystem. Through talks, panels, and Q&amp;A sessions, we encourage attendees to share ideas, make connections, and join our goal of building a common app ecosystem.</description>
