We use it for many things in GNOME, from icons to design mockups. Recently, GTK has started to support it natively. This talk takes a deeper look at the SVG format and the tools we have for it, with their strengths and weaknesses. Matthias works in the desktop team at Red Hat. He is the maintainer of GTK and a member of the GNOME release team. GNOME is a free and open-source software environment project supported by a non-profit foundation.
